How to write lyrics for an AI song
Write lyrics IronSound can sing: [Verse], [Chorus], and [Bridge] tags, line length, fitting the song length, and what not to paste in. Examples load into the composer.
Keep lines short and singable
- Aim for 6–10 syllables a line. Long lines get rushed.
- Repeat the chorus word for word each time. Repetition is what makes it a hook.
- Rhymes help, but a clear image matters more.
Fit the lyrics to the length
A 1-minute song has room for one verse and one chorus. Two or three minutes fit two verses, a repeated chorus and a bridge. Too many words for the length and lines get cut or crammed.
Lyrics can be up to 2,000 characters. Use the prompt box for genre, mood and voice, and the Lyrics box only for the words to sing.
What not to paste in
- Lyrics from someone else's song. You need to own or have rights to what you paste.
- Stage directions inside the lyrics, like (guitar solo here). Put those in the prompt.
- Personal details you wouldn't want in a song you share.
