IronSound at a glance
| Pricing model | Credits, not a subscription. One-time packs: 50 for $5 · 200 for $15 · 500 for $30. 10 free credits on signup. |
|---|---|
| Cost per output | 30s clip 1 credit · full song 10 credits · studio WAV 20 credits. |
| Failed runs | The credits go back to your balance (not a cash refund). |
| Inputs | Prompt, optional lyrics with [Verse]/[Chorus] tags, instrumental switch, BPM, length. |
| Length | Full songs 1 to 4 minutes (composer offers Auto, 1, 2, 3). Clips 30 seconds. |
| Files | Mix as MP3 or studio WAV and a per-song license.txt, plus stems and a streaming master on full songs and studio WAVs (not 30-second clips). Bass and other stems are derived reference tracks, not separated stems. |
| License | Per-song license file with a verifiable signature. |
| Privacy | Private library. No public feed, no Explore tab. |
| Engines | Full songs are made with YuE2-3B, self-hosted on IronSound-operated servers, when that engine is available; otherwise they fall back to Google Lyria 3.5. 30-second clips use Google Lyria 3 Clip, and studio WAV masters use Google Lyria 3.5. Lyria output carries an inaudible Google SynthID watermark; YuE2-3B output does not. Each song's license file names the engine that made it. |
| Agents | A generate_song tool at /api/mcp/generate with the same costs. |

When another tool suits you better
- You want a public feed, a community, or discovery for your songs. IronSound has none.
- You want a monthly subscription with a fixed allowance rather than one-time packs.
- You need fully separated four-track stems. IronSound separates vocals and drums; bass and other are derived references.
- You need songs longer than 4 minutes from a single generation.
- You want to edit a recording you made yourself. IronSound generates new tracks from prompts.
